I extend a warm welcome to you all. What makes St. Joseph Convent School such a special place? Without a doubt, it’s the children, teacher’s parents and friends of the community that provide the necessary ingredients for success. We are all so fortunate to be members of a team that makes the educational process a number one priority. I am privileged and honoured to head this team.
I am fortunate to work with a staff that love children and thrive on helping their students succeed. We are working hard to become teams of educators who work together to provide the right support for each student’s success. We recognize that parents are our first and best teachers, and as such need to be a critical part of our educational team. We look forward to working with you in order to give each child that comes through our door each morning the best educational experience possible. We encourage all of our parents to be actively involved in their children’s schooling. Parent involvement can include asking your child about his or her day, helping with homework, communicating with teachers, attending school events, and coming into school as associates.
I believe in the words of Abraham Lincoln, “A child is a person who is going to carry on what you have started. He is going to move in and take over your schools, universities, and corporations. The fate of humanity is in his/her hands,” I invite the staff, parents and students to make this school a second home that churns the future of this nation.
